Take a listen at Whose Is It?, a new Mel B's song that leaked on the Internet a few days ago.

Click HERE to check it out.

Lyrics:
Yeah I'm british
Say what...

Don't swim in the water, if you don't wanna get wet
Don't come in my kitchen, if you don't wanna sweat

You better freeze don't move, it's about to go up
I'm a renegade, so it's about to get rough
Take these handcuffs, your under arrest
I got probable cause, this is not a test

Got a bone to pick, yeah I'm talking to you
It's a sticky situation, hope you got sweetooth
Make you stretch, do you like aerobics class
When you do the hokey pokey turn around and smack my... hahaha

I can't deny
I see you got your feelings deep or better
But don't lose it now, hold it down
There's a question I gotta ask before we end it
I wanna hear it

Whose is it? Huh? It's mine, it's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose is it? Huh? It's mine, it's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose is it? Whose is it? I got it, I got it
Whose is it? Huh? It's mine, it's mine, it's mine, it's mine

I can't hear you - Speak up, say it louder
Double dare you - Speak up, say it louder
Whose is it? Whose is it? Whose is it? What? What?
Whose is it? Whose is it? Whose is it? What? What?

Don't swim in the water, if you don't wanna get wet
Don't come in my kitchen, if you don't wanna sweat

Better stop don't move, it's about to get hot
When I get in position, don't move last spot
You're driving this car, but I'm in control
So when I put it in fifth, don't let the clutch go

Gonna take it for a trip, from the ground to the sky
So when I say "Can you feel this?", then you better not lie
Make you stretch, do you like aerobics class
When you do the hokey pokey turn around and smack my... hahaha

I can't deny
I see you got your feelings deep or better
But don't lose it now, hold it down
There's a question I gotta ask before we end it
I wanna hear it

Whose is it? Huh? It's mine, it's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose is it? Huh? It's mine, it's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose is it? Whose is it? I got it, I got it
Whose is it? Huh? It's mine, it's mine, it's mine, it's mine

I can't hear you - Speak up, say it louder
Double dare you - Speak up, say it louder
Whose is it? Whose is it? Whose is it? What? What?
Whose is it? Whose is it? Whose is it? What? What?

Yeah I'm british
Say what...

Don't swim in the water, if you don't wanna get wet

Taken from Melanie's official blog at melaniebrown.com

Hi everyone,

It certainly has been a busy, amazing couple of weeks for me.

I just got back from Vietnam, where I co-hosted the Miss Universe pageant. What an incredible experience - great people, delicious food, the sea was the clearest, cleanest blue I've ever seen, great for swimming, although with a temperature of 80 degrees it was a challenge to cool off. The countryside was also breath-taking and I was lucky enough to take in the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. It was a great trip, although the poverty level of many of the Vietnamese people was certainly eye-opening.

I had a fabulous time doing the show, met girls from 80 different countries. My co-host Jerry Springer was incredibly fun to hang out with, he had me in fits of laughter, the man has the sense of humor of a 21-year old! I also had the opportunity to meet and hang out with the amazing Lady GaGa who performed her hit "Just Dance" on the show. What a cool, refreshing, edgy performer (and person) - if you haven't had the chance to check her out, do so immediately!

After the show, we boarded the 21-hour flight back home (!) Now it's family time and back to work on my new album.

The album is being produced by Richie Beats, Damon Elliott, J.R. Rotem and Scott Storch. We're busy perfecting it, but I'm thrilled with what I'm hearing.

When I'm not in the studio, I'm busy with my TLC TV show "The Singing Office". Joey and I are having a marvelous time meeting talented and fun people across America, and I hope you're having as much fun watching it as we are making it.

Thanks again for all your support. Be in touch soon.

Love,
Mel B.

Mel B has insisted that there is no rivalry between her and Victoria Beckham.

Like Beckham, Mel has her own fashion range, though she has played down talk of competition with her fellow Spice Girl.

"The Spice Girls have never really been in direct competition with each other," Metro quoted Mel as saying. "I'm doing my own stuff and Victoria's fashion stuff is really well established but completely different."

Mel added that moving to the US has helped revive her music career. She said: "I've been doing really well. I managed to get hold of Missy Elliot and Lil' Kim and they are up for doing some stuff."

Mel B's new album Reimagined, her third solo record, is scheduled for release early next year.

Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown asks for a boob job from Sir Richard Branson in a hilarious new cartoon advert for Virgin Media.

The Leeds-born singer, known as Mel B in her girlband heyday, is seen in the saucy animation dressed in her trademark leopard print catsuit. Her character visits a German plastic surgeon and tells him she wants make a "big impression in Hollywood" while gesturing to her chest. And after 'prescribing' Virgin's Movies on Demand service to help her "stand out from ze udders", the surgeon is revealed to be Virgin boss Branson.

After seeing the advert, titled 'Melony Brown', the singer said: "I'm over the moon with my animated alter ego and the advert really made me giggle! It's definitely fresh and original and I'm going to make sure all my friends and family go to the cinema to see it."

The commercial, masterminded by So! Animation, will hit British cinema screens from September 12 (08).

• • Mel B, Pine Valley Style

Thanks to soapnet.go.com

We've been obsessed with Mel B. for quite some time. How could you not fall in love with her as "Scary Spice" during her time with The Spice Girls? With a resume that extends beyond singing (hosting, acting, being a mom), she's a busy woman. But not too busy to miss "All My Children."

We were psyched, and surprised, to find out Mel was an "AMC" fan. But if you think about it, "AMC" being Mel's "something" makes sense. How? Why don't we list them for you. We love lists:

1) She was on "Dancing with the Stars" with Cameron Mathison, a.k.a. Ryan Lavery on "AMC." Friends support friends. Especially when said friends act on a TV show with lots of good drama.

2) Mel's quite the fashionista. I mean, we can't really recall seeing her not put together. So we're not really surprised she's all about "AMC." The women on that show are always in outfits that we've just seen on the runway. And they wear it with flair. We kind of hate them for it (so we're jealous, sue us). But seriously, "what are they wearing?" is totally reason to watch.

Speaking of style, did you know that denim shorts are back? For real. Sorry, we had to share. Mel and "AMC" get us all revved up about style.

3) Mel spent many a night on the road with the Spice Girls. So she's no stranger to best girlfriend bonding. And fighting. And bonding. And laughing. And fighting. And gossiping. Which is exactly what goes on at Fusion, the women-run cosmetics company at "AMC's" center. There were 5 Spice Girls and there are 5 Fusion women. Get the connection?

We know it's the frenemy dynamic of Fusion's Kendall and Greenlee that Mel really enjoys. Serena and Blair on "Gossip Girl" have nothing on these two. It's a fascinating relationship, but the connection between Kendall and Greenlee is kinda true. We all have that "love 'em one minute, wanna strangle them the next" girlfriend. Hmmm...wonder if its that way between Mel and any of the Spice Girls? BTW, we love Posh. We're kind of obsessed with her life.

4) Like many of the women on the show, Mel's a working mom. Like them, she manages to somehow balance it out with relationships, friends and some personal style. Again with the clothes! Sorry, it's a big part of "AMC".

5) Another reason Mel likes "AMC"? Well, she's got eyes. She sees what the men on the show look like. Ummm ... how could she not watch?

6) Drama! "The Hills" seem tame compared to Pine Valley, "AMC's" setting.

You can see Mel talking about her "AMC" love in the videos here and here.

So really, we're NOT surprised Mel watches the show. She's not alone though. Check out these other celebs that watch ABC Daytime and SOAPnet shows:
Jamie Anderson, professional snowboarder.
Mike Metzger, THE godfather of freestyle motocross racing.
Vincent Pastore, actor (You know, Big Pussy on "The Sopranos"!).
Kristi Leskinen, champion skier
Billy Currington, country singer
Randolph Duke, celebrity style maker/fashion designer.
Jason Gray-Stanford, actor
Elizabeth Berkley, actress

Want more info on "All My Children"?
"All My Children" Soap Opera History
Since 1970, the "All My Children" soap opera (AMC) has entertained audiences and brought thrilling drama to daytime television. It has retained its timeslot longer than any other daytime soap. An 2007. AMC reached the landmark of having broadcast for 30 years straight. When Agnes Nixon created AMC, her goal was to bring a soap to the air that was capable of addressing topical social issues. AMC made history for discussing the Vietnam War, homosexuality, abortion, and AIDS. Even Erica Kane, AMC's diva-in-residence, at one time suffered from drug addiction and sought treatment at the Betty Ford Center. Along with its handling of social issues, AMC has also always been known for its particular sense of humor and an intelligent brand of satire.

• • The Secret Life of … Mel B
Posted @ Thursday, July 3, 2008 by Junnior

From Spice Girl to mom to "The Singing Office," she's a bit more "gentle."
By Denise Martin, Special to the
latimes.com

She may have lost out to race-car driver Helio Castroneves on "Dancing with the Stars," but Melanie Brown (a.k.a. Scary Spice, Mel B) is determined to make a go of a post- Spice Girls career. She'll co-emcee the 2008 Miss Universe pageant with Jerry Springer next month for NBC. And today, Brown and fellow former pop star Joey Fatone will co-host TLC's "The Singing Office," a series in which the pair surprises several unsuspecting offices by rallying the 9-to-5 staffers into competing in a musical throwdown. "There was something about being there with the everyday office crowd that turned out to be a lot of fun. Some of them really wanted to sing, others I had to chase around with a mic," she says. But make no mistake, "We weren't out to find the next big pop star, so don't expect that!"

Brown talked to us about her "secret life," including the highs and lows of being celebrity, her first big splurge and what movie always breaks her heart.

What movie makes you cry?
"Stepmom." Without a doubt. Whenever it's on, I have to watch. And it's always on, isn't it? I feel like it is. Every time I'm channel-surfing, there it is. And every time, I stop. [The remake of] "The Heartbreak Kid" too, but it's more like crying from laughter. It actually hurts from my laughing so hard.

If you could change one thing about being a star, what would it be?
It'd be nice to not have paparazzi take pictures of you when you don't know they're there. I've gotten caught in some of the worst positions. But then again, I've had guys come up to my face and say "I'm going to take a picture of you" and I can't stop them. It's quite creepy.

Do you ever read the tabloids?
Well I don't read them, but sure, I have a quick look at the pictures. [Laughs] I admit it! But if I read the print, it'll wind me up. Even if it's nice, you might just be the flavor of the month and then you'll probably get trashed the next. So I'm always hoping I'm somewhere in between.

Do you wear a disguise when you're in public?
No, I'm very proud of who I am.

What's the best thing about being a star?
You get to cut in line every now and then and you walk into your restaurant and usually get a table. It might be booked for three months out and you can still get in -- that's the best.

What did you first splurge on once you made big money?
I bought myself a Rolex and I bought my mum and dad a big seven-bedroom house in the town where I grew up.

What's your favorite thing to do alone?
I love to get massages and meditate.

What was your first Hollywood job?
I was 13 and an aspiring actress and I finally got this gig as an extra in this British series called "Coronation Street." I was stacking shelves in a store as part of the background. It was my claim to fame for a year or so because everyone watched it. It was huge. And actually, everyone still watches it. My part actually grew as time went on and I actually got to speak once. It was thrilling.

What's the biggest misconception about you?
Probably that I'm scary. I'm not really. I am very opinionated, more so when I was younger. Whatever I thought in my head I used to say out loud. Now, I try to say things a little bit differently, so I'm more, I don't know, gentle.

Which film or TV character would you most like to play?
Sydney Bristow in "Alias." I'd love to play someone who gets to kick ass every day.

What's on your TiVo?
Apart from " Hannah Montana" and kids programs, hmmm, I like watching nature documentaries. There's a number of them waiting for me.

What was your favorite subject in high school?
Well, I went to a performing arts school and I found that I really loved playing the drums. I ended up doing all my exams in drums alone. I haven't played seriously in five or six years, but every now and then I'll let loose. You get to be wild and free when you're drumming.

If you were given three free hours right now, what would you do with them?
I'd probably take my kids to the park or go on a roller-coaster ride and then have some delicious food cooked by my husband [producer Stephen Belafonte]. He's a fantastic cook. He makes really good roasted vegetables, wonderful chicken. It's just delicious.

Posted @ Friday, June 6, 2008 by Junnior

Interview by Emma Lazenby
www.gm.tv

Mel B chats to gm.tv about life in L.A, her American success and the end of the Spice Girls - forever!

First of all...Leeds or L.A?
Leeds will always be my home and I love it but I've lived in L.A for six years now and I can see myself always being there! The sun always shines, I'm very successful there and my kids are really happy. I definitely won't be moving back home any time soon. I've got too much on! I've just signed a deal with VH1 for my clothing range, I'm doing tons of presenting over there and meeting really interesting people, so I'd be crazy to leave now!

Would you say your success on Dancing With the Stars was the start of your American fame?
Yeah, that was the first big thing I did out there and the reaction I got was fantastic! I had a lot fun doing that.

And we've heard you've been working with Janet Jackson...
Yep, well I'm 10 songs into my album and she worked with me on one of the tracks. I'm also doing a tour of America with her in September, which I can't wait for. She's a great lady.

Are you missing your fellow Spice Girls now the tour has finished?
It's been six months now since the tour ended and people are still talking about it! I don't have chance to miss the girls because we're constantly texting and talking on the phone. We'll always be close, no matter what happens. But we've all said separately that we'll never get back together now. That's it for The Spice Girls. The tour was the perfect way to thank the fans and say goodbye.

You've now entered the lingerie modelling world - you look fantastic! Please tell us your whole life isn't diets and exercise!
No way! Well, I don't agree with diets - they don't work! I'm lucky because I like healthy food and I don't have a sweet tooth. Everything in moderation! I just work out twice a week with a really effective fat burning exercise plan and that works for me. I'm bringing out a fitness video later in the year, so look out for that.

How are you celebrating your anniversary? Have you got the night off tonight?
I finish work at about 3pm today and I think Stephen is planning a surprise. We've got the whole night free, so it should be nice. He's not a fan of London though! He hates the weather and he's not a big fan of the people.

Have you taken him up north yet?
No, I haven't had the chance! I will soon though. He's met my mum lots of times - she always comes to London whenever I'm back over here.

Would you say that, in this point in your life, you're happier than ever?
I'm always happy! I don't have 'down times'. I've been upbeat since I was 13!

Mel B to front new Ultimo capaign [Click here to see the pictures]

Spice Girl Mel B is the new face and body for Ultimo lingeire, replacing Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding.

Mel B has been enlisted to promote the new spring/summer 2008 collection, which is said to be inspired by the "glamor and vintage Art Deco charm of Miami Beach".

The new range features bright colours and leopard print embroidery and is available from Debenhams stores nationwide and online from ultimo.co.uk. MJM International, which owns the Ultimo brand, also produces Ultimo D-G, Michelle for George, Adore Moi and Per Amore.

Suzanne Shaw, former Hear' Say singer and winner of ITV's Dancing on Ice, was last month revealed as the new face of Michelle for George lingerie, which is sold exclusively at Asda.

Earlier in the year, celebruty model Nell McAndrew starred in campaign for Adore Moi and former Hollyoaks actress and I'm a Celebrity contestant Gemma Atkinson fronted a campaign for the Ultimo D-G range.

Other famous faces have included Jade Jagger, Kimberly and Ruby Stewart, Samantha Mumba, Helena Christensen and former Liberty-X singer Michelle Heaton.

Michelle Mone, creator of Ultimo, said: "Mel B is the biggest star Ultimo has ever signed and I am so excited that this will take the brand onton another level."

Joey Fatone, Mel B. to Co-Host TLC Show

LONG BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Melanie Brown and Joey Fatone have a new role to add to their scarily similar resumes: TLC host.

The duo will co-host "The Singing Office", a tongue-in-cheek singing competition that puts different groups of employees against each other.

Both Brown and Fatone were members of chart-topping pop quintets; both finished in second place on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars"; and both have starred in "Rent" in Broadway.

"It's not like American Idol or Dancing with the Stars", Brown told The Associated Press while filming at the Long Beach Airport. "It's not a serious competition. It gives people a break from their everyday lives to have some fun with their co-workers."

In each episode, Brown, 32, and Fatone, 31, surprise employees at two separate workplaces with impromptu vocal auditions. They then pick the five best singers. The makeshift groups are trained by pros to perform a song-and-dance routine and compete in front of a studio audience.

"I couldn't have thought of a better pair to do this", said executive producer Scott Sternberg. "Both of them did really well on Dancing With the Stars, so I think America really knows then and is rooting for then now".

Brown recently wrapped up the Spice Girls reunion tour. Fatone, who performed with 'N Sync, has been hosting NBC's "The Singing Bee", which wasn't included on the network's fall schedule.

There's one more thing they have in common: Brown said they're both scheduled to return to the "Dancing with the Stars" ballroom May 6 to dance for the shows 100th episode.

(ABC is owned by The Walt Disney CO.)

FASHION CAREER
Image Hosted by ImageShack.usBy Hello.com Thanks to Emily Sullivan @ Hello.com to send this in.

Even among her Cavalli-dressed colleagues, Melanie Brown always stood out in the Spice Girls line-up. And now, with her first clothing line about to hit the stores, fans of the leopard-print loving singer have the chance to copy her distinctive style.

In a spirit of friendly rivalry with her bandmate Victoria Beckham, who's been in the fashion business for years, the dynamic Leeds girl and new face of lingerie brand Ultimo, has been secretly at work on a range called Catty Couture.

Reflecting the contents of Mel's own wardrobe, the body-hugging designs feature plenty of her signature animal print motifs.

While Posh's dVb range focuses mainly on jeans, Melanie's collection is made up of flirty tops, jackets and skirts for the fun-loving girl about town.

TV SHOW
Meanwhile, Mel's continued bid to forge a career stateside has finally paid off as she has landed a new TV show. The Leeds born Spice Girl will pair up with Joey Fatone, of Justin Timberlake's former chart-topping boy band Nsync, to find undiscovered musical talent — in the office. On "The Singing Office", Fatone and Brown will surprise unsuspecting employees in workplaces across the country by showing up and holding impromptu auditions.

Mel said: "It's not like American Idol or Dancing With the Stars. It's not a serious competition. It gives people a break from their everyday lives to have some fun with their co-workers."
